Fuel & Liquid Delivery Vehicle

Fuel tank trucks (oil tanker trucks) for delivery, distribution and site refuelling

A compartmented tanker that moves diesel, gasoline or similar fuels from depot to customer, sized in tank capacity to how many grades you deliver on one run.

The tank on our representative 24,000 L build is Q235 carbon steel, 5 mm on the body and 6 mm on the end plates, divided into 7 compartments so one truck carries several fuel grades without cross-contamination. A European-standard manhole with a pressure relief valve tops each compartment, and an aluminium-alloy discharge valve with an emergency cutoff shuts the flow if a hose fails. Smaller 4,000 L builds run a single compartment for site refuelling.

Compartment count separates a distribution tanker from a single-grade delivery truck: 1 compartment for diesel-only fleets, 4–7 compartments for distributors loading several grades on the same route. Every unit ships as an export order, manhole standard and discharge valve fitted to your product mix. A fuel tank truck ordered alongside a tractor truck covers rigid delivery and larger bulk haulage.

Every tank is pressure-tested and the manhole, safety valve and discharge valve cycled under load before it leaves the line, so a seal fault shows up on our floor rather than on your first delivery.

How these fuel tank trucks are built

Compartment count matched to your product mix

A single-compartment 4,000 L build suits one fuel grade; a 4–7 compartment 20,000 L-plus build carries several grades on the same route without cross-contamination.

Tank steel and thickness set for the duty

Q235 carbon steel at 5 mm / 6 mm on larger builds holds up to daily distribution runs; lighter site-refuelling tanks use a lighter gauge sized to their use.

Safety fittings built in, not optional

A European-standard manhole with pressure relief valve, an aluminium-alloy discharge valve and an emergency cutoff are fitted as standard on every tank.

Same export process as the rest of the fleet

Left- or right-hand drive, your market's emission standard, and compartment layout matched to your product mix, set before the unit leaves the yard.

Where these fuel tank trucks work

  • Fuel distribution from depot to filling station, multi-compartment builds delivering several grades on one route.
  • Construction and mine-site refuelling, bringing diesel to equipment that cannot leave site.
  • Aviation and marine fuel depot support, moving fuel between bulk storage and distribution points.
  • Fleet operators running a fuel tank truck alongside a tractor truck and semi-trailer tanker.

Frequently asked questions

What tank capacities do you build?

Fuel tank trucks are built from 4,000 L on a light 4x2 chassis up to 24,000 L on a 6x4 chassis with up to 7 compartments. Tell us your delivery volume and how many fuel grades you carry and we will recommend the tier.

How many compartments can the tank have?

Our builds run from a single compartment on smaller tanks up to 7 compartments on the larger 20,000 L-plus builds, letting a distributor carry several fuel grades on the same truck without cross-contamination between them.

What safety fittings are standard?

Every tank ships with a European-standard manhole and pressure relief valve, an aluminium-alloy discharge valve and an emergency cutoff device as standard, not as an add-on quoted separately.

Do you build semi-trailer fuel tankers as well as rigid trucks?

This page covers rigid fuel tank trucks up to 24,000 L. If you need a larger semi-trailer tanker in the 40,000–60,000 L range, raise it in your enquiry and we will confirm what can be sourced against your order, often paired with one of our tractor trucks.

Tell us the capacity and compartment count you need

Send the tank capacity, how many fuel grades you carry on one run, and your destination port. We come back with a configuration sheet and an FOB or CIF price, usually within 72 hours.
