Sigma manufactures municipal sanitation vehicles and industrial cleaning equipment, based in Liangshan, a county of Jining, Shandong, with two production lines under one roof.
Two production lines, one site
Line A builds heavy sanitation trucks on full chassis: road sweepers, water tankers, garbage compactors and vacuum tankers. Line B assembles smaller electric machines built for indoor and yard use — walk-behind and ride-on equipment that a full-size truck can't get into. Both lines run out of the same Liangshan site, under the same engineering and quality process, which is why a buyer ordering a sanitation truck and a floor scrubber for the same depot deals with one factory instead of two.
Shandong is where most of China's sanitation-vehicle production sits, which means the chassis, hydraulics and pump suppliers we buy from are within a few hours of the yard rather than across the country. That shortens the gap between a specification change and a truck actually being built to it, and it is the reason a body can be reworked to a buyer's fitting standard without the schedule moving by weeks.
Built for export from the start
Every truck and machine that leaves Liangshan is configured as an export unit: left- or right-hand drive, the emission standard your country enforces, and the certificate of origin, commercial invoice and packing list your customs broker will ask for. Quotes go out FOB Qingdao or CIF to your port, usually within 72 hours of your enquiry.
For markets that source their own chassis — Indonesia and the Russian-speaking region among them — the upper body or working kit ships on its own, without a complete truck attached. That keeps the vehicle on a chassis brand your drivers already know, and avoids duty on a full truck import where only the body is actually needed.
Shipments have gone to Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Russia. Each of those orders is listed on the export cases page with the vehicle and the destination.
Visitors to the factory
Customers from Australia have toured the production line, a delegation from Korea has visited the workshop, and buyers from Zambia came through during the Canton Fair. Testing before a unit ships
Every unit runs through its own test before it leaves — a vacuum tanker is pulled to rated vacuum, a water tanker's pump is run at rated flow, a compactor completes a full packing cycle, a floor scrubber runs its solution and recovery system under load. What gets tested depends on what the unit does; the specifics are on each product page.
That happens on our line, in Liangshan, before the truck or machine ships — not left for the first startup after it lands three continents away, where a fault is far more expensive to trace and fix.
How an enquiry becomes a shipment
Send the vehicle or machine, the capacity or working width you need, and your destination port. We come back with a configuration sheet and a price — FOB or CIF, your choice. Once the order is confirmed, the unit goes through its own test before being loaded for RoRo shipment from Qingdao or Shanghai, or crated in a 40-foot flat rack for smaller items. The same process applies whether you're ordering one machine for a single site or a fleet order for a municipal contract.
