Skid steer loaders exported to Russia

A skid steer loader order built for a customer in Russia, delivered to Moscow.

Skid steer loaders were built and exported to Russia, with delivery to Moscow. One of the units, a tracked model, was photographed positioned beside an open container in the yard ahead of loading.

A skid steer is the machine buyers reach for when the working area is tighter than an articulated loader can turn in — yards, sheds, sites boxed in by walls or stacked material, where turning circle decides what fits through a gap more than bucket size does. Tracked undercarriages, like the one in this shipment, trade some top speed for traction on loose or uneven ground, which is the usual reason to specify tracks over wheels for a given site. Tracks also spread the machine's weight over a larger footprint, which matters on surfaces that would rut or compact poorly under a wheeled machine carrying the same load.

Buyers running a skid steer commonly work one chassis across a season of different jobs by swapping the front attachment — a bucket for material handling, forks for pallet work, a sweeper or breaker for other tasks — rather than buying a separate machine for each one, which is part of what makes the platform useful on a mixed-use site.

Loading a skid steer into an open-top container rather than a standard box container is common where the machine's height or attachment does not clear a container door — the loader goes in from above by crane instead of being driven in through the end doors. It is a routine part of packing this class of machine rather than anything specific to this order.

The same factory that builds this line also assembles a separate range of industrial cleaning machines — ride-on floor sweepers and floor scrubbers for warehouse, plant and yard floors. A different market from earthmoving, but built in the same workshop, which buyers evaluating either line are welcome to see for themselves on a visit.

Moscow is as much detail as we have on file for this shipment — no unit count, no attachment list, no end use beyond what a skid steer is generally specified for. We have not added anything beyond what was recorded.
