Two HOWO 8×4 dump trucks exported to Tanzania

Two yellow HOWO 8×4 dump trucks were exported to Tanzania. Both were built to the National II emission standard and shipped with warranty.

An 8×4, four-axle chassis carries more per load than a 6×4 and spreads that load across enough axles to stay within limits on roads where axle weight is checked, which is usually the reason a buyer moves up from a three-axle tipper once haul volumes justify it. Two units is a small order by truck standards, and it is quoted, built and loaded the same way a larger fleet order is — the difference is only the schedule. Two units also means the trucks can travel as breakbulk cargo alongside other consignments rather than needing a dedicated booking, which is one more reason small orders like this one are not treated as a special case in scheduling.

National II is an older emission tier than some markets now require, and it remains a common specification for buyers who prioritise simpler engine electronics and easier field maintenance over meeting a newer standard that is not enforced at the destination. We build to whichever tier a market actually requires or a buyer specifies, rather than defaulting to one standard across every order.

Warranty was included on this order, quoted alongside the chassis and the emission standard rather than added afterwards. A shipment this size usually shares vessel space with other cargo rather than booking a slot on its own, which is normal for a small order and does not change the paperwork — invoice, packing list, bill of lading — that travels with the trucks regardless of how many units are on a given booking.
